  Our client a niche Mutual Bank located in Sydney CBD,  is looking to hire lending specialists as a result of growth. A rare opportunity to work for a customer centric Bank, with a large niche customer  base providing flexible banking options.   Are you an experienced underwriter/credit analyst looking for a smaller team, learning opportunities and flat structure where you can make an impact to the team and your customers? This role is for you if you have previous experience in consumer lending and looking for a new challenge.     The Lending Specialist supports customers with their lending enquiries and applications, identifying and providing solutions that meet their financial goals. Lending Specialists are responsible for ensuring the timely processing of loan applications, managing all communications with the customer r through the loan journey.


Your key duties and responsibilities include

  • Assisting with personal and home lending enquiries by communicating detailed financial matters, assessing customers’ needs and building rapport
  • Cross-sell and promote the bank’s and third-party supplier products according to customers’ needs         
  • Effectively manage relationships with customers, providing exceptional customer experiences throughout the Lifecyle of their loan application
  • Capturing loan application according to the credit steps, assessing servicing process and ensuring all checks have been completed prior to sending to the credit team
  • Ensuring to comply with all relevant policies and regulatory requirements
  • Providing superior customer experiences and identify opportunities for enhanced service delivery.
  • Maintain contact with customers within specified SLA timeframes, and completing all tasks by their due date
