Fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager to be involved in enterprise level transformation projects which will design and implement a new operating model and improve client experience.

Given the scale and complexity of changes involved, the program has identified the need for an experienced Project Manager dedicated to lead and ensure the successful implementation of the Client First initiatives, on time and within budget to meet the agreed outcomes / success criteria. This person will also be responsible for managing and coordinating the project deliverables to ensure key internal and external dependencies between stream activities are identified and addressed in project planning and execution.

The Senior Project Manager role is a leadership role, requiring well-developed project management, business partnering capability, technology know-how, strong collaboration skills and constructive management of stakeholders that builds trusted relationships across the teams

Project Management

  • Build and foster an agile and innovative approach and methodology across all projects
    • Develop and socialise business cases for projects, as required
    • Manage multi stream projects from end to end, including full implementation
    • Ensure that the projects’ scope, milestones and deliverables are clarified and aligned across business and technology streams, with linkages to business benefits
    • Drive outcomes through Project Plans, using recognised project management practices and frameworks Agile, Waterfall

Knowledge, skills and experience requirements

  • Project Management certification/post graduate business qualifications, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in the delivery of agile projects within specified time frames and budget
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement at senior levels
  • Strong and demonstrated ability to lead business led IT/change projects
  • Ability to provide strategic advice, develop options, analyse risks, make good judgements & decisions, to solve problems
  • Ability to develop highly effective working relationships by building credibility, respect and rapport with internal and external networks
  • Excellent negotiation, influencing and persuasion skills. Able to effectively and creatively challenge people, situations and current thinking
  • Significant experience in managing projects, working with governance and quality control processes, financial management, change management and reporting
