As a Senior Pharmacist, you will be responsible for managing the sale of medicines, therapeutic devices, and non-pharmacy products.  Manage the delivery of all comprehensive pharmacy services. You will lead a small team of four in this reputed community pharmacy.

Permanent/Part Time Opportunity | Cairns, QLD

In this role you will  –

• Expertly dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications, aligning with Pharmacy Board of Australia and National Health Act regulations.
• Navigate contract negotiations with precision, adhering to approved procedures and guidelines.
• Deliver top-notch professional pharmacy services.
• Prepare and submit PBS and Medicare claims meticulously.
• Collaborate with medical sales reps, fostering connections with generic suppliers.
• Train dispensary assistants, dispense technicians, and pharmacy interns as needed.
• Keep dispensary stock organised and up to date.
• Supervise front-of-shop stock orders and expiry-date checks, working closely with the stock controller.

Essential Skills and experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience.
• Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent) or higher.
• Current AHPRA registration as a pharmacist to be able to practice in Australia.
• High level of computer literacy including systems knowledge of dispensing software
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Remuneration & Benefits

• Salary package would be up to $100,000AUD + Super (Pro rata)/$65/hr.
• Annual membership at a local Gym valued at $400.

• Offering relocation allowance to Cairns, QLD from anywhere across Australia.
